Playful Planning Day
WHAT IS IT?
A 3.5hr workshop experience filled with creative possibility, pep talks and permission slips.
With playful prompts and guided activities, we’ll move through my three-stage framework for creating things you care about.
This experience is designed to reveal your truest voice, boldest ideas and offerings that matter to you.
This is an invitation to come home to yourself and create with deep curiosity and bold courage.
Together we’ll cultivate your sense of self belonging and give you a clearer understanding of where you’re at and what to do next with simplicity and playfulness.
You’ll come away with a re-invigorated sense of direction for crafting a life and body of work that is meaningful to you.
Why Playful Planning?
I want us all to have the opportunity to break free of the overwhelm and stuck-ness that we can experience as solo service providers. Think of this as a pattern interrupt to feel less overloaded and more clarity and calm in our experience of entrepreneurship (and human-ness).
Creative, community-minded, divergent thinkers deserve a space where they can feel supported and tethered by an encouraging facilitator and gentle framework without the rigid rules and structures that have been popularised online.
In creativity, life or business, there’s rarely ‘one right way’ of doing something but we often crave inspiration, an open framework or guidance.
Instead of teaching ‘my way’ or a set of rules, I can offer you a rhythm, a guide, a set of invitations that may nudge you, ignite you, validate or encourage you, in just the right way on just the right day, to help you see what’s possible.
To support you to express yourself the way you feel most comfortable, to build the offerings that are most meaningful to you, to have the impact that you want to have.
To have the experiences, the joys, the rest that you are craving in your life and business.
We create best from a place of supported courage.

What will happen?
Over 3.5 hours we’ll move through my three-stage framework for honouring your boldest ideas and creating offerings that matter to you.
The three stages are:
1) COMPASSION
The Inquiry: an opportunity to bring (judgement-free) awareness to the intangible and have an honest, deeply compassionate and self-aware check on where you are right now, what season you’re in, what you have capacity for and how you really are.
2) CURIOSITY
The Possibility: an open minded exploration of what might be possible for you and what you want to create, to change or reimagine. What is meaningful to you and what impact do you want to have?
3) COURAGE
The Compass: your curated and compassionate approach to what’s next from here. Together we’ll create unique visual reminders to remind you what actions you want to take, why it matters and how incredibly powerful you are.
Each stage will feature a pep talk on the theme and a playful guided activity, plus plenty of permission slips woven throughout.
In each activity you can uncover, articulate and express yourself with your choice of modalities.
How many people and do I have to share with the whole group?
Short answer: Up to twenty and no, not if you don’t want to.
Long answer: With up to 20 attendees, this experience is designed as an interactive workshop where you’ll be invited to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Everything is invitational, you can write, draw, paint, playdough or bead your way to clarity and calm.
At this size, it’s not intended for thorough one-on-one business consulting or deep personal sharing with the wider group. You will, however, have the opportunity to share within a smaller group or 2-4 attendees (if you choose) and have pockets of time solo with me (Sarah) to dig into a specific query that arises and to help you gain deeper insights and momentum.
Plus, as this is designed as a 4-6 weekly rhythm of workshops, if you attend more than once you’ll notice the collective accountability and the vibrant encouragement from me will offer even more momentum.
If you desire more personalized and nuanced business consulting and creative support, you’re always welcome to book a 1:1 with me x
What will you get?
IN PERSON
Arts & Crafts: Your $125 ticket includes access to all shared materials, crafts and your take home resources and goodies.
Venue & Catering: Drinks such as coffee/tea/juice will be provided as well as brunch platters to share, in our own private space.
(Please indicate dietary requirements in your booking form)
VIBES
You’ll come away feeling more:
❁ Aware of the season you’re in
❁ Re-energised and connected to your purpose and desired impact
❁ Encouraged to take action and reignite your momentum
What’s the approach?
My facilitation style is not to preach ‘my way’ of doing things, instead you’ll be guided by prompts, questions and activities that will help you honour the season you’re in.
From that foundation, you’ll then ask what’s possible and plan what’s next with curiosity, courage and self compassion.
As always, this framework is flexible and open minded. Each element is an invitation and a guide, acknowledging that everyone has their own unique capacity, needs, desires and privileges.
I have more than 15 years experience running many different styles of businesses and have been playing with creative pursuits my entire life. I’m proud of the knowledge and tools I have collected in that time and the creative ideation I am known for, HOWEVER, I will always encourage you to take any guidance with an open mind.
That is to say, I am your trusted expert and facilitator in this space but only you know what is truly ideal for you and your situation.
